Warrington S. Parker Jr. hails from Mobile, Alabama, where he grew up during the Jim Crow era, deeply influenced by the struggle for social justice. His journey led him through various roles, from teaching and coaching to consulting and academia. He pursued a degree in Sociology before delving into Organizational Psychology, eventually spending 25 years at Rockwell Corporation as an Organizational Psychologist. Post-retirement, he’s been involved in international endeavors, notably with the International Brain Education Association and the Brain Research Institute. Now, he enjoys life in Sedona, AZ, indulging in golf, yoga, and reflective writing.
Brenda Ann Cunningham Parker, better known as Gigie, is a passionate educator with a Bachelor’s in Education and an MFA. Her career took her from teaching in Michigan and California to leadership roles at private schools. At Chadwick and later Westchester Neighborhood School, she fostered diverse, supportive environments, earning recognition for her efforts. Alongside her husband, she contributed to educational initiatives globally, focusing on brain education. Presently, she resides in Sedona, AZ, engaging in hobbies like reading, documentaries, and beading.
